Mounted Volumes at a Glance
Every mounted drive and mount point, with its label, file system, capacity, and a usage bar. Removable drives are always listed, so you can see exactly how full each volume is before you dig in.
SpaceServal is a cross-platform disk space usage analyzer. Start with a list of every mounted volume — label, file system, capacity, and a usage bar — then double-click to open a visual explorer that charts a folder's contents as an interactive pie. Sizes stream in as it scans, subdirectories are measured in parallel, and completed scans are cached so going back is instant. One native binary on Linux, macOS, and Windows.

Double-click a volume to open an explorer window with a pie chart of the current directory's top-level contents. Each wedge and legend row shows the entry's name and size on disk.
Double-click a directory wedge — or its legend row — to drill into it. The current path and an Up button sit at the bottom of the window so you can climb back out one level at a time.
Items appear as each size is computed, with an animated "Working…" indicator while a scan runs — no staring at a blank window waiting for a whole drive to be measured.
Subdirectory sizes are computed across a bounded worker pool, so large folder trees are measured quickly without saturating your machine.
Completed scans are reused, so pressing Up or revisiting a folder you've already measured is instant — no rescanning the same directories over and over.
Hover any wedge to see the entry's basename, making it easy to tell which slice of the chart maps to which file or folder on disk.
Network shares (SMB, NFS, AFP, and more) appear when you enable "Show Network Shares," so you can analyze mapped drives and mounts — or keep the list focused on local disks.
On macOS, removable volumes that the system APIs miss are recovered via getfsstat, and the firmlinked /System/Volumes/Data duplicate of / is hidden — so the list matches what Finder shows.
Light and dark themes track the OS appearance and accent color, with a selectable font size — so SpaceServal looks at home on every desktop.
Built in Rust with the Slint toolkit — a fast, single native binary with no runtime to install and no background services left behind.
A native desktop app for Linux, macOS, and Windows, on both x86-64 and ARM64 — signed and notarized where the platform supports it.
SpaceServal only measures sizes — it never deletes or moves your files, and nothing about your disks ever leaves your computer.
